To all paid MANZ entrants – HRC Great Lake Taupo Meeting – 28/29 March 2020
Firstly, Chris, Tony and I hope that you are all well and have been safe throughout the COVID-19 Lockdown period. The world is certainly very different than it was back in early March when we were putting the Great Lake Taupo Meeting together.
During the lockdown period, we received a few enquiries regarding refunds from the event. Now that we are starting to get back to the New Normal, we are sending out this letter to address those questions.
From the Supplementary Regulations
4.3 Entry Refunds Policy
All entrants who advised us of their withdrawal in writing before 5pm on Thursday 26th March 2020 (as per event regulations) will receive a full refund.
Refunds for entrants due to the cancellation of the meeting due to COVID-19 can choose to either:
· leave their entry fee in place (Race Entries $350 + $53 MSNZ Levy and $70 transponder hire if paid) and use it as a $ for $ credit at a future HRC meeting
· HRC will refund the paid amount less 3% bank charges.
You may also choose to make your entry fee a donation to show support to HRC to help us through the lockdown (GST Receipt can be provided if required). As a thank you, you will receive one free year membership of HRC.
Please complete the attached form and send it back to us letting us know your preference. Don’t forget to include your bank details if you require a refund. We look forward to seeing you at one of our race meetings very soon
